Generally Yes, however there are some exceptions based on the clients medical history. The surgeon may also advise against a FUE hair transplant if it is deemed unsafe or harmful to either the donor area or if its deemed not in the best interest for the client based on them being too young. FUE hair transplants are performed under local anesthesia so you generally will not experience pain during the procedure.

FUT (Follicular Unit Transplantation) involves removing a strip of tissue from the back of the head and removing the grafts from that strip and then implanting them into the recipient area. FUE extracts individual hair follicles from the donor area and implanting them individually to the recipient area, FUE is generally preferred by most clients due to it leaving minimal scarring.

Depending on the number of grafts required, FUE can take anywhere between 4 to 8 hours. The exact time can vary from client to client. The time for your specific procedure will be explained during your consultation and pre-treatment check in.

Transplanted hair may shed initially but will start to grow back in 3-4 months. While you will notice results soon after the procedure, the full result can be observed in 8-12 months.

As with any surgical procedure, there might be some risks like infection or scarring. However, these are rare and can be minimised by following post-operative care instructions.
